Sales Development Representative:  

Hippo Video is an online Interactive Video Experience Platform that enables every persona inside an organization to leverage personalized and interactive videos for better engagement in their day-to-day usage. We are on the mission to democratize personalized and interactive videos for everyday business use cases. 

Since our launch, Hippo Video has acquired over 4 Million users globally and is growing at 200% YOY. We have been awarded G2 Leader - 2021; G2 Momentum Leader - 2021 and G2 High Performer - 2021. 

Hippo Video was established in 2016 with offices in the USA, Abu Dhabi, and India. We are over 120 people and growing 50% YOY. We are backed by leading investors including Sequoia (Surge), AWI,  Exfinity, KAE, and soon will be closing our next funding round. 

As Sales Development Representatives, your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing impactful relationships with outbound prospects. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor sales role. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Contact leads via phone, email, Linkedin, and webchat. 
  • Qualify, nurture leads and walk leads through an 'Assisted Buying' experience till closure. 
  • New customer acquisition in the mid-market or SMB/SME categories and conversion of leads 
  • Build and manage outbound business development pipeline 
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services. 
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer adoption/satisfaction. 
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients. 
  • Collate and help Product and Marketing teams with feedback. 
  • Build reports to present to the manager. 

Requirements: 

  • Proven work experience of 1 to 6 years as an Inside Sales Representative or similar role. 
  • Excellent clarity in communication. 
  • Ability to deliver engaging product demos. 
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas. 
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics. 
  • Experience using a CRM. 
  • Highly energetic and self-motivated individual with a drive to reach for the sky.
