Update: Our customer is looking for a candidate who can provide thought leadership and opinions on different solutions that can integrate with Cisco ACI since Cigna has 4 dispersed data centers that they are trying to bring together using ACI. They are looking for this person to provide opinions on different cloud, automation, and security solutions that can integrate with ACI. This candidate should have excellent documentation skills and should have strong experience with ACI and someone that can voice their opinions as they are evaluating different solutions to integrate with ACI.
Network Solution Architect

Our customer is looking for someone very familiar with enterprise network architecture (DC Networking specifically) that can work with Cigna’s lead architect to design and document a next generation DC-Network.
We are looking for a data center networking expert with concentrations in:
ACI and SDWAN moving towards a Hype converged environment
multi-tenancy
segmentation (Macro and Micro)
container mobility
software-defined-network (with SD-WAN experience if possible)
Day to Day:
Build out labs as needed to test and prove technologies
Testing and figuring out new tools, and presenting to C-Level Executives on the findings from the tests to figure out what solution is best
Presentation of technologies to executives using PowerPoint
Attend daily meetings
Will not be touching technologies all the time, role is high level consulting on technologies. Will do implementations then move to newer technologies.
Research new technology that can be integrated into Cigna environment
This person will be partnered at the hip with Cigna’s lead network architect to work through:
documenting current application and network flows
diagramming a platform tree which identifies all technologies and teams involved in application hosting
technical documentation for internal and external training
capturing timeline information for deliverables and product releases
create documentation templates to ensure a “consistent look and feel”
