Collaborate with the Project Manager team in the development of the execution plans/schedules
Plan installation logistics including laydown area, offloading, staging and equipment move-in
Ensure logistics plans are properly communicated to all involved/impacted parties
Track and receive material deliveries and resolve delivery discrepancies
Drive the fieldwork to ensure schedule stays on track and escalate any build/installation issues to proper management
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing the applicable regulations (OSHA, state, local, etc.)
Supervise on-site laborers\vendors
Coordinate inspections
Ensure facility standards are followed.
Understand the technical requirements of our engineering teams and ensure the completed project meets these requirements.
Perform quality audits and ensure issues are remediated before the vendors are released from the project.
Enforce and maintain quality for engineering drawings and field installations; identify causes of issues and work with various teams to improve specifications and/or standards where required.
Facility coordination: identification of points of connection, timing of utility install (ensure timing precludes vendor needs), move in path, cleanliness requirements, rigging and staffing support, etc.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of Facilities management and/or program management experience
3+ years of experience with Outside Plant and Inside Plant Design
3+ years of experience working on Facilities programs
Position Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of Facilities experience in large industrial projects
3+ years of experience working on Facilities programs
3+ years managing large Facilities projects
Experience in Manufacturing, Data Center, or equivalent high-tech facilities
Strong project management skills with attention to detail
Strong Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) skills
Exceptional oral and written communication required
Display a high sense of urgency, adaptability, and flexibility in a fast-changing environment
Possess excellent problem-solving abilities including analytical, prioritization, and escalation
Knowledgeable of Smartsheet
Experience with network facilities management and experience in a telecom environment
Understanding of facilities standards in multiple regions
Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
Ability to work with minimal guidance, proactive and motivated self-starter
Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and environmental regulations
Understanding of facility design documents and ability to provide feedback prior to and during design phase
Previous experience as a Facility Lead on previous industrial projects, facility upgrades, building renovation or tenant improvement project(s)
